Overview
The QR code scanner feature enables users to scan the QR code on any Android/iOS devices present on the pCloudy platform.
Note
- This feature is supported on Android 5.0/ iOS version 11 devices and later versions.
- Supported QR Code file formats are .png, .jpeg and .jpg.
Prerequisite
- User should be registered on pCloudy platform
- An application under test which supports QR code scanning
- A QR code file(test QR codes)
Steps
- Login to the registered account and upload the application under test to My Data.
- Instrument the application by clicking on the three dots on the android/apple icon and select “Sensor Testing”.
- Click on “+” sign to verify if an instrumented application is generated. (The user will see the application with “sensor testing” tag as shown below)
- Upload the QR file image in the My Data section.
- Go to the start page and connect to any Android/iOS device.
- Click on Install and install the QR Code app on the device.
- Allow the necessary permissions once the app is installed
- Click on “Inject” and Select the QR code image that has to be scanned.
- The App will Scan the QR code and give you the desired outcome to verify.
