Overview
TestRail is a comprehensive test case management tool used by quality assurance teams to plan, manage, and track their app testing efforts. It allows teams to create, organize, and execute test cases, as well as monitor the progress and outcomes of their testing activities. TestRail provides a centralized platform where testers can document test cases, link them to requirements, and log test results, ensuring that all testing activities are tracked and documented in a structured manner. Pcloudy's integration with TestRail will enable testers and developers to quickly capture bugs, assign issues, provide detailed descriptions, attach screenshots, and manage the test cases more effectively
Prerequisites
- User must have a valid Pcloudy account
Steps
- On the start page, click on Integrations.
- Search for TestRail and click on Connect.
- Enter the Email and the APIKey and click on Submit. A success notification will appear on the screen.
- Once the Bug tracking tool is integrated, simply go back to device and connect to any available device.
- Perform you testing activities and capture screenshots of bugs or errors on your application.
- Once you are ready to highlight any errors or bugs, simply click on "Mark a Bug" under the "Quick Actions" Tab.
- A Bug Tracking Dialoge box will open up. Fill in the details of the bug and choose the tool under "my integrations" sections and click on "Submit" to Mark the Bug
- Voila, your bug report will be captured on the bug tacking tool of your choice.
